Meet our Charity Partner - Cavell Nurses’ Trust

Health Service discounts are proud to work with the Cavell Nurses Trust to support both past and present nurses, midwives and healthcare assistants when suffering from hardship, both personal and financial.

We all have a lot to thank medical professionals for and along with the Cavell Nurses’ Trust, we believe that we should offer the support they deserve.

From disability to old age, domestic abuse and illness, there are several reasons why nursing staff may be faced with hardship, and Cavell Nurses Trust aim to transform lives and make recipients of their support happier and healthier.

What can the Cavell Nurses Trust do to help?

Whether a midwife is unable to wash their uniform because their washing machine has broken and they can’t afford to buy a new one or a retired nurse is struggling to make ends meet, Cavell Nurses Trust provides much-needed help and support.

Why do we sponsor the Cavell Nurses Trust?

For over 20 years we have been helping and supporting healthcare workers. From helping them to save money to provide them with just some of the recognition and appreciation they deserve.

How do we get involved?

As well as donating and fundraising for the charity all year round, we also run the Health Service Discounts Lottery. This raises funds to help Cavell Nurses’ Trust to continue helping nurses who are suffering from hardship.

For every time someone plays the lottery, 30p from every £1 is donated to the worthy cause. Since 2014, this has raised an amazing £200,000.
