  Terms and conditions:
  
  1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern ScottishPower’s G&E Incentive Promotion (“Promotion”), offered by ScottishPower Energy Retail Limited (“the Promoter”), a company registered in Scotland (Company number: SC190287) and having its registered office at 320 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G2 5AD.
  2. The term “Affiliate” means a third-party entity approved by the Promoterthat is authorised to act as an introducer to the Promoter’s website.
  3. The promotion will run from 00:01 hours on 9 May 2025 until such time as it is withdrawn by the Promoter (“Promotion Period”).
  4. Under these Terms,“Applicant(s)” or“you” or“your” means a Promoter’s customer who chooses to sign up to the Promotion.
  5. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the decision(s) of the Promoter, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.
  6. Participation in any aspect of the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
  7. The Promotion is open to Applicants who are:
  a) legal residents of Scotland, England or Wales;
  b) aged 18 years or over;
  c) new or existing customers to ScottishPower for energy and apply for a supply of gas and/or electricity on a selected domestic tariff within the Promotion Period via an approved Affiliate website; and/or
  d) supplied gas and/or electricity by the Promoter via a prepayment, credit or smart meter installed at their residential address and in some instances where a home move process is completed as part of the Affiliate sign up process (where prompted).
  8. The following Applicants will not be eligible for the Promotion:
  a) Applicants who have applied for an energy supply from the Promoter prior to the Promotion Period and are awaiting confirmation of supply start date(s); and
  b) Applicants that do not meet the requirements of clause 7.
  9. The Promotion is not open to Applicants on ScottishPower business tariffs. Promotional incentives (“Incentives”) may include cashback, vouchers, charity donations or other rewards offered from time to time.
  10. Incentives will only be paid for a maximum of one ScottishPower Gas and/or Electricity purchase within 12 months inclusive from the date the first Incentive payment was issued by the Affiliate website to the Applicant’s Affiliate Account (“Incentive Period”). Upon expiry of each Incentive Period, the Applicant will again become eligible to receive the Incentive subject to compliance with these Terms. The commencement of a new Incentive Period shall begin once the Applicant has purchased a new product.
  11. This Promotion is subject to availability. Where the Promoter is unable to meet demand this Promotion will be withdrawn without notice.
  12. This Promotion may be withdrawn, suspended or amended at any time where it is reasonable for the Promoter to do so. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice where it is reasonable for the Promoter to do so.
  13. The Promoter reserves the right to: (i) verify the eligibility of each Applicant; and (ii) to reject any applications that appear to be duplicates, materially incorrect, incomplete or fraudulent.
  14. All applications will be run through validation checks and the Incentive will only be confirmed and paid after all payments due to the Promoter in respect of the purchase of the product.
  15. The tracking and validation period will take 3 months on average. Checks will be made to ensure you remain in contract prior to the Incentive being paid. In some cases, the tracking and validation period may take up to 6 months.
  16. If you cancel your energy switch or leave ScottishPower before the Incentive is deposited in your Affiliate Account, then you will no longer be eligible to receive the Incentive.
  17. Incentives will only be paid on genuine, tracked transactions completed from the link provided on the Affiliate website and wholly online through the Promoter’s website. Incentive will be paid into your Affiliate Account. For donation sites all fund amounts raised and further information shall be shown on your Affiliate Account. Vouchers will be issued by email, using the nominated email address provided by the Applicant at the time of purchase.
  18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any inaccurate information provided by the Applicant which results in the payment not being delivered in accordance with these Terms.
  19. The Promoter’s general terms and conditions for purchase (“General Terms”) and tariff-specific terms and conditions (“Tariff Specific Terms”), available at https://www.scottishpower.co.uk/, as well as the Affiliate website’s terms and conditions (“Website Terms”) also apply. Should either the General Terms or the Tariff Specific Terms conflict with these Terms, these Terms shall take precedence.
  20.The Affiliate Website’s Terms will apply to your use of the Affiliate’s website.
  21. The Promoter will use each Applicant’s personal data to administerthe Promotion, including keeping each Participant informed with news and updates relating to the Promotion.   22. The Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be liable to any Applicant or customer for any damage, loss, liability, personal injury, compensation, or disappointment incurred or suffered by any Applicant or customer in connection with the Promotion except to the extent which any applicable law prohibits any exclusion of liability or responsibility.
  23. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms at any point following advance written notice and the decision of the Promoter will be final in the event of any dispute regarding any aspect of these Terms.
  24. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse participation in the Promotion or refuse to reward any Applicant in breach of these Terms.
  25. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues or delays that may impede participation in the Promotion.
  26. In the event of fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms, the Promoter reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including providing the Applicant’s details to the Affiliate website (which may result in the termination of their Affiliate Account), the revocation of the incentive and reporting to relevant authorities.
  27. These Terms shall be governed by Scots law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
